– A fever, chills, or active infection
– Open wounds, burns, or skin infections
– Recent surgery without medical clearance

Massage may be modified for conditions such as:
– Varicose veins (light techniques used around, not over, affected areas)
– TMJ dysfunction, sinus congestion, and scar tissue

If you’re unsure whether massage is appropriate for your current health condition, please contact your physician or call our clinic. Our team can guide you on when it’s safe to book.
Your massage therapist will begin by reviewing your health history and discussing any areas of concern or treatment goals. You’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level and lie on the treatment table, where you will be properly draped at all times. The therapist will use techniques appropriate to your needs and check in regarding pressure and comfort. After the session, they may provide home care advice or suggest follow-up treatments based on your presentation.
