INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS

ABOUT INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS

Interstitial cystitis is a dysfunction or inflammation of the bladder organ. Symptoms of this condition may include pubic pain and a sensation of pressure when you have a full bladder, and also increased urinary frequency (ie. more bathroom visits). This condition may be related to pelvic floor dysfunction. Our pelvic floor physiotherapist is trained in assessing for interstitial cystitis and creating a custom treatment plan for you to address your symptoms including medical referral if needed.
