Join Our Team as a Part-Time Physiotherapist

We are currently seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team immediately at Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness in North Edmonton's Klarvatten neighbourhood.

Flexible Hours for Part-Time Physiotherapist

The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7 am to 8 pm (based on clinician schedule), Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. The successful candidate will commit to weekend shifts on a commission-only basis, approximately 10 hours per week, which is ideal for those seeking additional income. Exact schedules can be discussed during the interview.

Current Availability until August 2024:

  • On Sundays: 9 am to 2 pm
  • Every Monday: 2 pm to 8 pm
  • Wednesday mornings: 7 am to 1 pm
  • Thursdays: 7 am to 4 pm
  • Fridays: 2 pm to 8 pm
  • Saturday mornings: 9 am to 2 pm

Availability from September 2024:

Qualifications and Skills for Part-Time Physiotherapist

The ideal candidate:
  • Is licensed to practice as a Physiotherapist in Alberta
  • Has a minimum of 1 year of experience; new grads are welcome to apply
  • Possesses a First Aid Certificate (an asset)
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Values individual patient needs and employs a collaborative care approach
  • Is committed to continuous learning and professional development
  • Is responsible, punctual, reliable, and has a strong work ethic
  • Actively listens to and responds to client needs, performing assessments and providing appropriate treatment
  • Provides timely electronic patient chart notes and fulfills reporting obligations
  • Works effectively within a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Has experience with multiple modalities (an asset)
  • Is in good standing with the Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association
  • Is willing to handle WCB, MVA, and Military caseloads in addition to private clientele
