We are in search for a part-time Physiotherapist to join our team starting immediately. Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness is a full-service multidisciplinary clinic with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, TCM Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, a Naturopathic Doctor, and a Kinesiologist. We are located in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton. If you love working with people and give attention to detail this might be the perfect position for you.

The clinic is open Monday thru Friday from 7 am to 8 pm (based on clinician schedule), Saturday 9 am to 2 pm, and Sunday 9am to 2pm. The Successful candidate would be committed to working Saturday and Sunday as a commission only employee, approx. 10 hours per week. This position would be perfect for someone looking for extra hours/income.

    Sunday: 9am to 2pm
    Monday: 2pm to 8pm
    Wednesday: 7 am to 1pm
    Thursday: 7 am to 4pm
    Friday: 2 pm to 8 pm
    Saturday: 9am to 2pm

    Monday: 2pm to 8pm
    Friday: 2 pm to 8pm
    Saturday: 9am to 2pm

Candidate must employ a collaborative approach to client care, and be comfortable with referring to other health professionals when appropriate for optimal patient care.

You are:

    · Licensed to practice as a Physiotherapist in the province of Alberta;
    · Have a minimum of 1 year of experience;
    · New Grads are welcome to apply;
    · First Aid Certificate is an asset;
    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    · Deeply value the needs of each individual patient;
    · Willing to continuously learn and improve their trade;
    · Responsible, punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic;
    · Actively listen and respond to client needs;
    · Perform assessments, provide appropriate treatment;
    · Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress;
    · Provide complete and timely electronic patient chart notes and reporting obligations;
    · Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
    · Multiple modalities an asset;
    · In good standing with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association;
    · Willing to take on WCB, MVA, Military caseload in addition to private clientele.
