Part-Time Naturopathic Doctor (Evenings & Weekends)

We are in search for a part-time Naturopathic Doctor to join our team starting immediately. Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness is a full-service Physiotherapy, Chiropractor, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Naturopathic clinic located in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton. If you love working with people and give attention to detail this might be the perfect position for you.

The clinic is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00am till 8:30pm and Saturday & Sunday 9am to 2:30pm. The Successful candidate would be able to work during the following available hours:

    · Su - 9:00am to 2:15pm (5.25 hours)
    · Mo - Unavailable
    · Tu - 5:00pm to 8:15pm (3.25 hours)
    · We - 7:00am to 10:45am (3.75 hours)
      · Th - 5:00pm to 8:15pm (3.25 hours)
      · Fr - 5:00pm to 8:15pm (3.25 hours)
      · St - 9:00am to 2:15pm (5.25 hours)

    Exact schedule can be discussed during the interview.

    Candidate must employ a collaborative approach to client care, meaning the Naturopathic Doctor is proactive at detecting issues that should be treated by a Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist, and refers the patient to the appropriate therapist when necessary. Likewise, the Chiropractors and Physiotherapists will refer their patients to the Naturopathic Doctor to work on issues that are best worked on by a Naturopathic Doctor.


    You are:

      · A licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the province of Alberta
      · Be appropriately Certified, Registered, Licensed
      · Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Naturopathic Doctor
      · First Aid Certificate is an asset
      · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      · Deeply value the needs of each individual patient
      · Willing to work evenings and weekends (depending on shift)
      · Willing to continuously learn and improve their trade
      · Responsible, punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
      · Actively listen and respond to client needs
      · Perform assessments, provide appropriate treatment
      · Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
      · Provide complete and timely electronic patient chart notes
      · Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
      · Multiple modalities are an asset
      · In good standing with CNDA
