Chiropractic Doctor - Part-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Doctor - Part-Time to join our team immediately at Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness, a comprehensive healthcare facility located in North Edmonton's Klarvatten neighbourhood. Our clinic specializes in Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Naturopathic treatments.

Clinic Hours and Schedule

Operating from 7:00am to 8:30pm Monday through Friday, as well as from 9:00am to 2:30pm on weekends, our clinic offers flexible hours for the successful candidate:
  • Mo: 1:30pm to 8pm
  • Tu: 7am to 1:30pm
  • We: 1:30pm to 8pm
  • Th: 7am to 1:30pm
  • Su: 9am to 2pm

Collaborative Patient Care Approach

We emphasize collaborative patient care, ensuring the Chiropractor identifies and addresses issues that may require treatment by a Physiotherapist or a Massage Therapist, facilitating seamless referrals for optimal patient outcomes. Our team encourages interdisciplinary cooperation to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements for Chiropractic Doctor - Part-Time Position

The ideal candidate:
  • Is a licensed Chiropractor in Alberta
  • Demonstrates expertise with appropriate certifications and registrations
  • Has a minimum of 1 year of chiropractic experience
  • Possesses a First Aid Certificate (an asset)
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Values individual patient needs and satisfaction
  • Is available to work evenings and weekends as per shift requirements
  • Commits to continuous professional development and skill enhancement
  • Maintains punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Actively listens and responds effectively to patient concerns
  • Conducts thorough assessments, delivers appropriate treatments, and evaluates patient progress
  • Ensures timely and accurate electronic patient records
  • Works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Has proficiency in multiple treatment modalities (an asset)
  • Maintains good standing with the provincial regulator board (CCOA)
