    Jessica Mahé (formerly Jessica Sobiewski) graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2013. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. With a commitment to ongoing education and skill enhancement, Jessica is certified in medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling, and is currently working on her CMPT certification (Certified Manual Physical Therapist).

During his undergraduate program he worked as a research assistant at Child and Adolescent Activity Lab under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas Holt, where he developed his passion for learning about the human body. He then pursued his graduate studies at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, graduating with Summa Cum Laude.

    Dr. Kim serves his community by promoting a healthy active lifestyle for all clients.     In her spare time Victoria likes watching scary movies and spending time with her cat, Willow. She also enjoys being outdoors, working on vehicles, as well as pilates and yoga.

    Rebecca Silver is one of our fabulous receptionists at Forward Physiotherapy & Wellness! Rebecca was born and raised in Edmonton. Recently, Rebecca graduated from CDI College with a diploma in Medical Office Administration, along with 2 certificates in Business Administration.

    Rebecca has a passion for the challenge of assisting every individual with their personal wellness needs, and loves learning about new cultures and history.

    In her free time, Rebecca, aspires to travel the world to take in life as much as possible. Rebecca is a passionate 10-pin bowler and aspires to become a youth bowling coach, further teaching the younger generation the fun and enjoyment that she had as a youth bowler. Rebecca is fond of swimming, horseback riding, scary movies and camping in the summer season. Rebecca enjoys spending valuable time with her family (her daughter keeps her on her toes), two dogs, two cats.

    Hi there! I’m Eugene Louie Orbita, a Therapy Assistant who’s all about making people feel their best. I finished my OTA/PTA diploma at Canadore College in North Bay, Ontario, and I’ve been diving deep into the world of anatomy and wellness ever since. With a knack for both physical and mental well-being, I aim to deliver personalized, effective treatment for every patient.

    Educational Background of EUGENE ORBITA

    First, I kicked off my educational journey with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Southwestern University in the Philippines, graduating in 2017. Then, I took my passion across the globe to Canada, where I completed my OTA/PTA diploma in 2021.

    Professional Experience

    After completing my education, my professional adventure took me to Achieva Health in Toronto. I worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant from December 2021 to May 2024. There, I assisted physiotherapists in daily patient care, led group exercises for our amazing geriatric clients, and kept our therapy spaces spotless and organized. Additionally, documenting patient progress and collaborating with a fantastic team made every day a learning experience and a joy.

    Skills and Expertise

    I’ve got a bunch of skills! For example, I’m a pro at developing therapeutic exercises, keeping clinical documentation sharp and precise, and motivating patients to smash their rehab goals. Whether it’s enhancing range of motion, applying electrotherapy for pain management, or diving into cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, I’ve got it covered. Moreover, professionalism and ethics are my cornerstones, and I’m all about efficient time management to ensure every patient gets top-notch care.

    Certifications

    Furthermore, I’ve got some solid certifications too—CPR and First Aid, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, N95 Respirator Fit Test, and Interprofessional Training. These keep me ready for any challenge that comes my way.

    Now, a bit about me: I absolutely love helping others, and being in Canada has been such a blessing. Meeting people from different backgrounds and learning from them has enriched my life immensely. Besides, I’m fluent in English and Tagalog, so I’m always up for a chat (and trust me, I can be pretty chatty!). Long walks and meaningful conversations are my jam.
