Naturopathic Doctor - Part-Time Job Opportunity

We are looking for a part-time Naturopathic Doctor to join our team starting immediately. Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness is a full-service clinic offering Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Naturopathy in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton. If you love working with people and pay attention to detail, this might be the perfect position for you.

Working Hours

The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm and Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 2:30 pm. The successful candidate can work during the following available hours:
  • Sunday - 9:00 am to 2:15 pm (5.25 hours)
  • Monday - Unavailable
  • Tuesday - 5:00 pm to 8:15 pm (3.25 hours)
  • Wednesday - 7:00 am to 10:45 am (3.75 hours)
  • Thursday - 5:00 pm to 8:15 pm (3.25 hours)
  • Friday - 5:00 pm to 8:15 pm (3.25 hours)
  • Saturday - 9:00 am to 2:15 pm (5.25 hours)

Collaborative Care

The candidate must employ a collaborative approach to client care, proactively detecting issues that require treatment by a Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist. They will also receive referrals from these professionals for issues best addressed by a Naturopathic Doctor.

Naturopathic Doctor - Part-Time Qualifications

You are:
  • A licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the province of Alberta
  • Appropriately Certified, Registered, Licensed
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Naturopathic Doctor
  • First Aid Certificate is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deeply value the needs of each individual patient
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends (depending on shift)
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Responsible, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Actively listen and respond to client needs
  • Perform assessments, provide appropriate treatment
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
  • Ensure complete and timely electronic patient chart notes
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with multiple modalities is an asset
  • In good standing with CNDA (Canadian Naturopathic Doctors Association)
