Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness
Full-Time Physiotherapist (Various Hours Available) We are currently seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join our team immediately. Forward Physiotherapy and Wellness operates as a full-service multidisciplinary clinic, offering services from Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, TCM Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, a Naturopathic Doctor, and a Kinesiologist. Situated in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton, if you enjoy working with people and pay attention to detail, this could be the perfect position for you. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 7 am to 8 pm (based on clinician schedule), and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. The successful candidate will be required to work a mix of day and evening shifts as a commission-only employee, totaling approximately 30 hours per week. The exact schedule can be discussed during the interview.

Shift Availability:

  • On Sundays: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • On Mondays: 7:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • On Tuesdays: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • On Wednesdays: 7:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • On Thursdays: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • On Fridays: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • On Saturdays: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
The candidate must employ a collaborative approach to client care, being comfortable with referring to other health professionals when necessary for optimal patient care.

Requirements for Physiotherapist - Full-Time Position:

  • · Licensed to practice as a Physiotherapist in the province of Alberta;
  • · Have a minimum of 1 year of experience;
  • · New Grads are welcome to apply;
  • · Possessing a First Aid Certificate is an asset;
  • · Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills;
  • · Deeply valuing the needs of each individual patient;
  • · Willing to continuously learn and improve your trade;
  • · Responsible, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic;
  • · Actively listening and responding to client needs;
  • · Performing assessments and providing appropriate treatment;
  • · Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress;
  • · Ensuring complete and timely electronic patient chart notes and reporting obligations;
  • · Able to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
  • · Proficient in multiple modalities, which is an asset;
  • · In good standing with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association;
  • · Willing to take on WCB, MVA, Military caseloads in addition to private clientele.
